The secret of the number

For me is the melody the most important part in music. It's like the statement of a philosophical idea. All other things, like harmony, rhythm or text, are ordered around this core.
If you have something to say, you need to do it clear and simple to be understood by the people. But if you deny the complexity of reality you become a traitor of the truth.
But good music is more than that. When the composer sets the notes in the right proportion of pitch and time, he can manifest his emotions with his work, and people who will never met him, can (re)feel exactly the same - only by listening his music.
We all hear music every day. But isn't it a little bit strange? I mean music consists only of some notes on a sheet paper or on a screen. So what's about this? But if there are set in the right proportion to each other, they can build an emotional holography in which you can immerse yourself. No words are necessary and you don't need to understand, but you can feel it!
The proportion of something can be expressed by a number. So may be good music is nothing else than a kind of number magic which can touch our yearning until we starting to remember that the world we live in, is not the only one.
